As per the order issued on Friday, private use of drones and protests without permission are prohibited.

“Private use of drones will remain completely prohibited till January 31 for security reasons, while nobody will be allowed to hold protest or processions or hunger strike without permission from competent authority, not will they encourage anyone else to do so,” PTI quoted Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Ashutosh Dwivedi as saying.

A complete ban has also been issued on celebratory firing at social gatherings like marriages besides consumption of liquor in public places. The people have also been warned against selling, playing or displaying any audio/visual material which may disrupt peace.

Any violation of the order would lead to prosecution under Section 188 of the IPC (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant).
